ORDER INFO AND FAQ'S

When will I receive my order?
If ordered goods are in stock, we will despatch the same day on orders placed before 2pm on working days. So you should receive them within 1 - 3 days.

What happens if not all items are in stock?
In this case, we will contact you and if you are happy to wait a couple of days, we will order the item from our suppliers. You should receive your order within 3 - 4 working days.

Is it safe to order on-line - is there an alternative?
When you come to enter your personal details (address) and choose from our 3 payment options (credit card on-line, phone in with credit card details or send a cheque by mail), our site is secured by 128bit encryption. You can check the validity of our SSL (Secure Socket Layer) by double-clicking on the yellow lock in the bottom right hand corner of your browser.

  • Phone us on 01723 58 65 65 (9.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Saturday) to place your order
  • Post us you order. Please send Cheques/Postal Orders payable to GRIP CYCLES, Unit 5, Orchard Court, Dunslow Road, Eastfield, Scarborough. (Please allow 7-10 days for Cheques to clear)
  • Place your order on-line and phone in with your credit card details or send a cheque

What do you charge for postage?
Orders fom the UK incur a £3.50 delivery charge.
Orders from mainland Europe will be advised of delivery charges before processing your order.

Do you charge VAT?
All our prices include VAT at the current rate of 17.5%.

Is all information on your web site uptodate and correct?
We are trying our best to give correct descriptions of all products. However, the odd mistake might have krept in somewhere - please accept our apologies for that!

How are my goods delivered?
Small items are sent by First Class Post, larger items are sent by courier.

What if my goods are faulty?
Please contact us immediately before returning any goods. We will offer you a replacement where possible or a refund where necessary or if you prefer a refund to a replacement.

Can I return my item(s)?
We do not accept returned goods unless you received goods that are faulty. If the description of a product on our web site is not sufficient or you are not sure about something, please ring us to ensure you are going to buy the right part. We do not take responsibilty for parts that do not fit your bike.

Privacy Policy
We guarantee that we will not pass on any of your details to any other parties. When you place an order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address. If you pay by credit card on-line we will also ask for your credit or debit card number and expiry date. We also ask for your phone number, so that we can contact you regarding your order if necessary. Your credit card details are deleted after your order has been fulfilled.

On-line Security
On-line security is becoming more and more an issue as fraud is on the increase. As you come to finish your order, you enter our Secured Site, secured by 128bit encryption, which is virtually impossible to crack. Only then we ask for personal details like address etc. Should you decide to pay by credit card on-line, your card details are protected in the same way.

Should you find a fraudulant transaction on your card statement, the credit card issuer usually covers the cost, and as a consumer you should contact your card providers to find out your position.

We destroy your credit card details as soon as your order has been processed.

ring us with your credit card details, so you speak to a real person,
or send us a cheque, we will dispatch your order once your cheque has cleared.
